Survivorship took on new meaning for Katie. Where before 2010, she had been the physician counseling her patients, these days she relates differently having been the worried patient, the bald mom, the sick spouse, the tired friend.

Now almost 10 years later, she remains passionate about living life with humor and humility as one whose life remains forever touched by cancer. She looks forward to sharing her story and energy to survive.

About Dr. Klingberg
Katie Klingberg, MD is a family physician in the Twin Cities who was blindsided when she was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 41 following her very first screening mammogram.She received her MD from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in 1998 and has been in practice 20 years. She works as a family physician for M Health Fairview in Saint Paul, MN.
