Sharing the Knowledge

Our education program, Sharing the Knowledge, aims to empower breast cancer survivors, their spouses, family members, friends, healthcare professionals, and students by providing access to the latest advancements in breast cancer medical care.

Furthermore, the series emphasizes emotional health and well-being, offering valuable information, techniques, and tools specifically designed for breast cancer survivors.

The goal of our Sharing the Knowledge series format is to provide more accessible programs throughout Wisconsin and the surrounding states. This format enables us to reach a wider audience and cultivate a supportive community.

In addition to our series, we have partnered with and expanded our reach to statewide partners for a half-day Education Day.

Our objective has been to keep these events low-cost or complimentary for all attendees. Through the generous support of grants and sponsorships, we have successfully hosted over 35 programs —both in-person and virtual —benefiting more than 1,400 participants. This initiative continues to make a positive impact and enhance the lives of those affected by breast cancer.

Thank you to the Green Bay Packer Foundation for their support of the 2026 Sharing the Knowledge!

This event was so informative and valuable for anyone affected by cancer. Thank you for offering this in our community.

About the 2026 Education Day:
From Diagnosis to Transformation: Embracing the Journey Ahead

Join us on Saturday, October 3, at the Ingleside Hotel in Pewaukee!

The 2026 Education Day is designed to empower breast cancer survivors—and those who support them—with practical knowledge, meaningful connection, and renewed strength for the journey ahead.

This half-day event brings together survivors, spouses, family members, friends, healthcare professionals, and students to explore essential topics applicable to everyday life. Through expert-led sessions and shared experiences, participants will gain valuable insights into survivorship, wellness, and navigating life beyond diagnosis.

A central focus of this year's program is emotional health and well-being. Attendees will learn effective strategies, tools, and techniques to support resilience, reduce stress, and foster a positive path forward after breast cancer.

In collaboration with statewide partners, this expanded Education Day reflects a collective commitment to supporting Wisconsin's breast cancer community.

We are proud to co-host with
Wisconsin Breast Cancer Coalition and our partners: ABCD-After Breast Cancer Diagnosis, American Cancer Society, Gilda's Club Wisconsin, Komen, LIVESTRONG, Medical College of Wisconsin, Team Phoenix, Team Survivor, and the Wisconsin Women's Health Foundation.
