Megan Purtell is an accomplished association executive and event strategist with more than 23 years of experience leading and supporting a wide range of associations and corporate organizations. She has spent over two decades in executive leadership roles, specializing in conference development, membership engagement, and organizational management.


For the past 10 years, Megan has served as Executive Director of Breast Cancer Recovery, where she has led strategic growth, expanded mission-driven programming, and strengthened the organization's community impact.


Prior to her work in the nonprofit sector, Megan built a strong foundation in financial strategy through 10 years in investment banking, including 8 years at JPMorgan Chase H&Q in San Francisco.


Megan is also a committed community leader, having served on the boards of TEMPO Madison, Monroe Street Arts Center, and Wisconsin Women in Government, where she also served as President.


Outside of work, Megan enjoys hitting the golf course, keeping pace with her two lively Labrador retrievers, and embracing the ongoing adventure of managing a very ambitious yard.
