Breast Cancer Recovery Envoy Program
If you would like to represent Breast Cancer Recovery in the community (i.e. hospitals, churches, workplaces, high schools, etc) join our Envoy Program. Envoy volunteers will be trained by the staff to be community representatives for Breast Cancer Recovery.
The volunteers staff booths at community events, tell their story at fundraising events, and present to business, civic and social groups about the work and needs of Breast Cancer Recovery.
Goal: To create community awareness about Breast Cancer Recovery.
Objective: To increase awareness of Breast Cancer Recovery mission and retreats.
Responsibilities: Connect with community through service-related groups, hand out literature to healthcare providers, schools, churches, social service agencies, businesses, neighborhood organizations, etc. Tell your story at BCR and 3rd Party hosted fundraisers. Venues may include Health Fairs, Offices, community runs/walks, etc.
Qualifications: Anyone who has an interest in spreading the word about Breast Cancer Recovery and working with community organizations. Members may apply for this position.
Training/Supervision: Attend Breast Cancer Recovery 101 Volunteer Training (March 2018) & additional training by Breast Cancer Recovery staff, volunteer supervision sessions recommended, but not required.
Commitment: As schedule allows.
