Volunteer Spotlight: December 2017

Meri DeGarmo is an Infinite Boundaries Retreat Volunteer, Meri also volunteers as our Administrative assistance (whatever Klara and/or Megan need help with!), shawl making, set up for events.

In her own words, here is a little bit more about Meri:

Diagnosed:

• Stage 2 in July 2000
• Stage 4 Bone METS in July 2014

Most Memorable Retreat Experience:

On the last retreat... Dance to "It a so nice to get to know you" such a special time, without words from the participants to just be with each other!

Background:

Single mother of two amazing kids, now adults. Close, small extended family.

I have been a registered nurse working in pediatrics primarily. Love spending time with families! Children are so honest! Free time fun: Reading Crocheting Spending time with family and friends
