2D vs 3D Mammography: What is right for you? |

Have you ever gone in for your screening mammogram and had the technologist ask you “Would you like to have 2D or a 3D mammogram today?” The next thought that went through your head was probably:
- “I don’t know what you are talking about.”
- “What is the difference or which one is the better exam.”
Jessica Hickson will discuss the answers to those questions, and have you leave here feeling empowered to know what the right mammogram is for you. Maybe even be able to help some of the other women in your lives to know what is the best choice for them as well.

Jessica is the Senior Mammography Technologist at the Agnesian HealthCare, a member of SSM Heath, on the main campus in Fond du Lac. She has been a registered technologist for 18 years, specializing in women’s health for 13 of those years. Jessica went to school at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, WI, graduating with certificates in both general radiology and mammography. |
